Website Development & SEO for a Tourism Business

We worked with High Valbona Adventures to build a professional website and strengthen its online visibility in both Albanian and international markets.

The project combined responsive website design, search engine optimisation, Google Business Profile creating and management to help the business reach travellers planning hiking trips in the Albanian Alps.

Our focus was on creating a website that showcases available tours, answers potential customers’ questions, and makes it easy to enquire about a trip. Alongside the website, we developed an SEO approach targeting relevant searches from travellers in Albania and abroad.

The Challenge

Reaching Travellers in a Competitive Tourism Market
High Valbona Adventures needed a stronger online presence to compete with other hiking tour providers and reach customers beyond its local area.
Unlike businesses targeting customers in one city, its audience includes international travellers researching destinations, comparing hiking experiences, and planning trips before arriving in Albania.
The challenge was not simply creating an attractive website, but it needed to be found. The business needed individual tours to be easy to discover through Google, enough information to help visitors make a decision, and a straightforward way to request a booking.

Our Strategy

Targeting Travellers Before They Arrive in Albania
We built the strategy around how people search for hiking experiences and plan trips online.
For the website, we prioritised clear tour pages with itineraries, trip details, images, and visible enquiry options. This allows visitors to compare experiences and contact the business without unnecessary steps.
For SEO, we focused on national and international search intent, targeting relevant hiking destinations, routes, and guided tour searches such as Valbona, Theth, and the Albanian Alps.
We also included informational content to reach travellers earlier in their planning process, while Google Business Profile optimisation supported local discovery and trust.

We designed and developed a responsive website that presents High Valbona's hiking tours, destinations, and travel experiences in a clear, organised format.
Each tour has its own dedicated page with relevant details, itineraries, and enquiry options, making it easier for visitors to understand what is included and plan their trip.
Alongside the website, we worked on national and international SEO, including keyword targeting, on-page optimisation, off-page seo, technical seo, search-friendly page structures, and content focused on relevant hiking and travel searches.
We also optimised the Google Business Profile to support the business's visibility on Google Search and Maps.
